| The Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island area at the northern tip of St. Lucia is one of the Caribbean's most striking coastal settings. A man-made causeway links the mainland to the 44-acre Pigeon Island National Landmark, home to the 18th-century ruins of Fort Rodney and a network of walking trails with views across the channel to Martinique.
The wide, curved beach at Reduit / Rodney Bay is regularly ranked among the finest in the Caribbean. Warm, clear water and reliable trade winds make it a favourite for sailing, catamaran cruises, snorkelling and simply relaxing under the palms.
Just inland, Rodney Bay Village offers a lively mix of restaurants, cafes, bars and duty-free shops, with the Caribbean's largest marina moments away. The area is well served by taxis and mini-buses, and is about 90 minutes' drive from Hewanorra International (UVF) or ten minutes from George F. L. Charles (SLU).
Beach: The property borders a 1,000-foot-long stretch of Rodney Bay's curved white-sand shoreline, one of the calmest and safest swimming beaches on St. Lucia. |
